 Feb 2009 Uganda: Note from Issac Mugabi:
 hello April, The place you will be staying is found in the eastern part of Uganda called Lugazi in mukono district. it is an hours drive from kampala the capital city of uganda. Your trip is so important since you will be involved in the following activities. This will serve a fact finding mission for you. You will be teaching widows among other groups of women how to make jewerly. you will also have councilling sessions to encourage a.i.d.s affected widows about positive leaving. You will also have some time with orphan children and other pupils at lugazt primary school. You will also have the opportunity to meet with some of our board members to discuss further collaboration and partnering between our nonprofit organizations on specific humanitarian projects in Uganda especially the Education opportunities for the children under the organization. The status of the children and widows plus the appropriate data. The Beads / art crafts project the widows make. The role of the women in constructing the development of the project.. This will continue the discussions we have always initiated and discussed briefly on email. this will also be an opportunity for us to explore how the task of looking after orphan children and widows can be carried out in a manner that promotes social justice, sustainability and full participation of all stakeholders. we shall send you the full programme some time before your coming. you can also let me know some other things you would love to get involved in during your stay with us.
