Our mission:

The mission of designers4africa is to make a positive impact by helping non profits involved in Africa get more items for their charity auctions.

We aim to do this by simply asking designers, businesses & authors to agree to donate 4 items yearly to non profits we will list.
As a group we can make a huge difference for non profits like The Invisible Children Scott & Fiona Wolfe clinic fund for Gulu) & Drop in the Bucket (building wells in Uganda) Both working in Uganda which has been in the midst of the most horrendous humanitarian atrocities known!

These organizations are both 500 (c) 100 non profits & will issue tax receipt for donations.

“ I am a small designer & have been donating jewelry to non profits for 10 years now. Its an honor to be asked & means so much to me because although I may not always have more money to donate I always have extra samples that I can donate to non profits for auction!
Last year I succeded in getting 5 additional jewelry designers to donate jewelry for an auction benefitting The Galilee School in Kenya & from there I decided to do it every year with more organizations & more designers!”

April Star Davis founder of D4A will list any designer, business, even authors. We currently have 2 great authors on board Judy A Bernstein, "THEY POURED FIRE ON US FROM THE SKY" story of Lost Boys of Sudan. AAron Cohen, The Jubilee project (Aaron along w/ Bono, Perry Ferral & Bob Geldof were responsible for eradicating billions of dollars in debt for 3 rd world countries! These authors have already made a huge impact on ‘African causes; however they see our vision at d4a & agree to donate autographed books for auction! We have an opportunity to do more & Africa is where we start!
